Abram was anxious to find out why Vladik had left for Soul Society. He and Vladik had agreed to meet at a restaurant, have lunch, and then return to Vladik's estate to discuss the fruits of Vladik's mission. Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Abram was making his way through a construction site. In an attempt to gain control of himself, he had arranged to meet up with Abram in southern Rider City, which was being rebuilt after its destruction by Impero Nascosto six months prior.
The leftover indignation had spiraled out of control, resulting in two rampages, both quite violent. This had been his second transformation since he had left Shigenaga in Soul Society.
In the glow of the full moon, Vladik's beast form receded once again. And now, with Shigenaga's recent business attempt, exploiting the beast within him, Vladik was beginning to think nothing would ever change. Even Shigenaga had hurtfully pointed that out. He had Abram, but, Abram would never return his feelings.
He had thought things would be different at some point in his life. Even the Vandenreich and Impero Nascosto had only wanted to use him. All of his life he had been rejected, an outcast of society, unwanted by the masses. Underneath, however, was an entirely different story.
He was still angry, at least on the surface. He had only known the Shinigami for less than half a day and yet his world had been worsened by that night and the subsequent morning. Two weeks had past since Vladik had met with Shigenaga Arma for the first time. This article, Dark Moon Rising, is property of Njalm2.
